By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, Belize’s Ambassador to Taiwan Dr. Candice Pitts attended the closing ceremony for the 2024 Vocational Training Course-Coffee and Tea Preparation hosted by the International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF).
Ambassador Candice Pitts delivered remarks on behalf of the Diplomatic Corps.
Ambassador Pitts commended TaiwanICDF for its consistent and significant role in assisting allied and partner countries through various development projects and humanitarian efforts.
Ambassador Pitts also congratulated Belizean participant, Ennil Valdez, who is an instructor at Cayo Center for Employment Training, and all the other participants for completing their one-month training course successfully.
Ambassador Pitts reiterated the importance of trainees sharing the knowledge, skills, and experiences they acquired.
During this training, the participants honed the skills they had and acquired new proficiencies in coffee and tea preparation that they will apply in their respective areas of focus in their countries.
The Embassy of Belize extended well wishes to Valdez during his career in Belize.
