By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: A woman tragically lost her life in a traffic accident early this morning in Southern Belize.
Reports indicate that the woman was in a pickup truck with another person near Georgetown, Stann Creek when the vehicle lost control. Both were rushed to receive medical treatment, but the woman succumbed to her injuries shortly after.
Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
