This morning, Blackman Eddy resident Melva Myeres lost her life in a road traffic accident on the George Price Highway.
According to reports, Myeres was travelling to Belize City along with her daughter when around Mile 14, her daughter lost control of the vehicle.
The vehicle reportedly overturned on the highway.
Authorities responded to the scene shortly after.
