By Horace Palacio: Belize Electricity Limited (BEL) has announced a planned five-minute power interruption for the entire island of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, on Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 3:05 p.m.
The brief outage is necessary to facilitate the transfer of load from the Mobile Substation to the main power transformer at the Maskall Substation.
BEL apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause to its customers.
