By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: A team from the U.S. Special Operations Southern Command, supported by Joint Task Force-Bravo, has successfully concluded 3 weeks of intensive training with the Belize Defence Force, Belize Coast Guard, and Belize Police Department.
The rigorous exercises were designed to enhance the operational integration of U.S. military personnel with Belizean counterparts, aiming to bolster the collaborative fight against narcotic trafficking and related criminal activities in Belize.
This joint training initiative focused on improving tactical coordination and response capabilities between U.S. and Belizean officials.
The U.S. Embassy in Belize expressed enthusiasm in its partnership with the Belize Defence Force emphasizing the importance of such collaborative efforts.
