By Victor Castillo Sr.: An intense search by family members, volunteers and authorities is currently underway in the village of Maypen in the Belize District to search for the body of 8-year-old Adriana Moody. 
BBN was made to understand that sometime yesterday after 3:00 p.m., Moody and friends, in the company of an adult went swimming and a few minutes later the little girl went under water.
Reports indicate that shortly after, friends saw a crocodile floating with Moody’s body in its mouth.
The crocodile then went under water with the child’s body. A relative reportedly tried to follow the crocodile in a canoe but it went under again with the child. Since then, neither the body nor the crocodile have been seen.
