By BBN Staff: The Orange Walk Football Association has issued its official roster for successful players to form the U-17 team that will represent Orange Walk.
In an interview with Vice Chairman of the Association, Fernando Sanchez, 24 players were selected from a list of 56 that came out to part-take in the tryouts.
Sanchez added that the Orange Walk U-17 team will be participating in a U17 tournament on the 19th, 20th and 21st of August in Belmopan with U17 teams from across the country. In that tournament members of the FFB will be scouting players to form the Belize under 17 National Team that will participate in a tournament in Costa Rica in November of this year.
The winner of the tournament in Belmopan will remain as the National U-17 Champions of Belize.
