By Aaron Humes: The Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry is celebrating 20 years of existence.
Beginning today, it hosts the 20th annual “Expo Belize Market Place” at the ITVET Compound in Belize City.
The main speaker at this morning’s opening ceremonies was the general manager of Green Clean Products who offered this advice to fellow businessmen: do not be afraid to fail, but be sure to use that failure to inspire greater success; and keep educating one self.
The Chamber’s plans to encourage the fight against corruption, including technologically empowering government and reforms to all aspects of public service and life, were also discussed.
Last year the Chamber raffled about 18 gate prizes and this year, because it’s their 20th anniversary, they will be raffling 20 gate prizes on both days.
The Expo Market Place opens from 8am through to 5pm today and Sunday.
