By BBN Staff: Caleb Orozco, who won a landmark ruling in Belize which made gay sex legal in the country, made an appearance at the United Nation’s (UN) General Assembly in New York this week.
He was invited as a guest speaker at a UN side event organized by the UN LGBT Core group. Following that engagement, Orozco met US Vice President Joe Biden.
The churches, meanwhile, have filed an appeal of the landmark Section 53 ruling handed down by Chief Justice Kenneth Benjamin.
