By BBN Staff:The Belize Workers Union issued a release today expressing their full support for the BNTU’S decision to strike.
The release states that the BWU stand in solidarity to ‘move the cause to the next level’.
In their release, they stated that the fight of the teachers is a noble fight on behalf of all citizens of this country.
They added that “for the BWU to stand aside and do nothing is to abdicate its moral responsibility to not only the teachers and the BNTU but also to all our Belizean brothers and sisters who are victims of ministerial and Government corruption and the mismanagement of the nation’s financial resources.”
