By BBN Staff:A woman has been charged for stabbing her mother with a broken piece of a pint bottle.
The incident happened on Wednesday, October 5.
Hetta Marin reported that she was standing in front of her house when her daughter, Anifa, allegedly entered her yard holding a bottle.
Marin said that she repeatedly told her daughter not to come any closer.
Anifa then allegedly broke the bottle and stabbed her several times to the back, nose, chin and chest.
Anifa appeared in the Magistrate’s court on Friday, and pled not guilty to the charge of wounding.
She was denied bail and remanded into custody until November 29th.
