By BBN Staff: Reports reaching our newsroom is that a man was shot this morning near the gas station on Carillo Puerto Avenue in Santa Elena. The victim has been identified as Patrick Gordon of Santa Elena town. He was shot in the left upper chest.
He was initially taken to the San Ignacio Community Hospital and later transferred to the Western Regional Hospital in Belmopan.
Police are investigating.
BBN will have more updates as the information becomes available.
