By BBN Staff: Reports coming out of the Corozal Free Zone is that the investors, employees and public transportation commuters are pleading to the relevant authorities in Immigration and Border Management to find a solution to traffic congestion at the border.
This morning traffic at the Belize-Mexico border was at peak; lines reportedly exceeded 600 vehicles. A source told BBN that this scenario has been the same almost every weekend and that today, the lines lasted for three hours.
An investor who is also a member of the Corozal Free Zone Chamber of Commerce is very concerned about the situation and contacted BBN today saying that the Border Management or the Ministry of Immigration must do something about it.
