By BBN Staff: Silas Duane Boston, 75, was nabbed by the FBI on December 1 for the double murder of an English couple which occurred 38 years ago.
According to ABC 10 in Sacramento, Peta Frampton and her boyfriend Christopher Farmer were on board Boston’s yacht named “Justin B” heading to Mexico in the summer of 1978.
However, they never made it as Boston tortured them, tied them up and threw them into the Caribbean Sea to drown.
Boston almost got away with this cruel crime until an investigation into his wife’s death rekindled police investigations.
According to ABC 10, the collaboration of the FBI and Manchester police led to his arrest in Northern California.
If found guilty he may face the death penalty or life imprisonment.
His two sons told ABC 10 that their father had fled with them from Sacramento to Belize after he was accused of statutory rape.
According to them, their father operated his boat in Belize from which he gave illegal tours.
