By BBN Staff:Raymond McLeod, an ex US Marine wanted by the San Diego Police for the murder of his girlfriend Krystal Mitchell, is believed to be hiding out in Belize.
Mitchell was last seen alive with McLeod. She was found dead in the apartment of an acquaintance.
According to reports, the victim was found dead in June 2016 and McLeod is believed to have fled to Belize through Mexico.
The US Embassy in Belmopan has sent out a bulletin in which San Diego police say that McLeod is likely to frequent gyms and could be working in construction.
They also say that he suffers Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from his time as a Marine and may have access to weapons.
Reports are that McLeod was last seen in Placencia.
If anyone has any information regarding his whereabouts, they can contact Crime Stoppers Belize, their local police station or the US Embassy.
