Police reports on recent murders

By BBN Staff: According to police reports, on Monday night January 2, police visited Raccoon Street where officers saw 33-year-old Kenneth Dobson of Raccoon Street Extension with two gunshot wounds to the right side of the head.

Investigation reveals that he was playing dominoes under a house at #83 Raccoon Street Extension when a man entered the yard and fired several shots at him.

He ran trying to escape but the gunman pursued and caught him, fired more shots then escaped.

Dobson was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 10:25 p.m.

Also yesterday afternoon around 2:40 , police visited the KHMH, where they saw 19-year-old Randolph Johnson of #178 Police Street, Belize City with gunshot wounds to the chest, right leg and left palm.

The investigation revealed that at about 2:25 p.m., Johnson was along with five other male persons at a creek situated at Mile 3 George Price Highway, Belize City fishing, when they were approached by a man who fired several shots at Johnson causing his injuries.

Johnson was rushed to the KHMH, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 2:35 p.m.

Last night at about 7:30 police responded to a shooting incident on Holy Emmanuel Street, Belize City and visited #9188 Holy Emmanuel Street where they   saw 47-year-old Bert Alexander Abraham with several gunshot injuries to the back and chest.

That investigation reveals that Abraham was on the street in front of his resident when suddenly the sound of gunshots was heard and Abraham was seen lying motionless in front of his gate.

Police investigations continue.
