Tuesday, August 4th, 2015. Aaron Humes Reporting: Two weeks after being officially terminated as General Manager for the La Inmaculada Credit Union Ltd, yesterday Yolanda Gomez spoke for the first time since the controversy surfaced.
Gomez has gone on record to state that while the matter is in her attorney’s hands, she cannot divulge details of the ongoing investigation and asks members and the general public for their patience.
Gomez said that she is moved by the outpouring of support from members of the Union. These members have taken to the streets to demand a comprehensive report on the investigation, and calling on the union’s board of directors to set a date for their annual General Meeting, which was originally scheduled for June of this year.
She ended stating that as soon as the investigation is over, she will give her side of the story, since the allegations are deemed baseless.
