By BBN Staff: According to police reports, on Saturday around 12:40 p.m., police were conducting a mobile patrol on Raccoon Street in Belize City and upon reaching the corner of Curassow Street and Raccoon Street their attention was drawn to two male persons on separate bicycles, one carrying a black plastic bag heading towards Raccoon street.
Upon noticing the Police mobile, the male person with the bag turned down Raccoon Street heading towards Central American Boulevard and threw away the bag.
He was apprehended and the bag was retrieved containing 437.1 grams of cannabis.
The 16-year-old student of Belize City was arrested and charged in the presence of his mother for the offense of “drug trafficking”.
