Thursday, September 10, 2015. Chrisbert Garcia Reporting: A shooting incident in Placencia Village earlier today has claimed the life of businessman Vance Cabral, a resident of the village, who police say was 
socializing and consuming alcohol at Robert’s Grove Resort, when around 3:30 p.m. this afternoon, something went terribly wrong and he was allegedly accidentally shot to the head.
According to our sources, Cabral along with a close cousin, both holders of licensed firearms, began playing with their guns, pointing them at each other and that is when the surviving cousin says that his gun went off by mistake and a bullet struck Cabral to the head, causing his fatal injury.
That cousin, whose name has not been released by the police as yet, has since been detained for questioning by the police.
We have been made to understand that the scene is still being processed at the moment and several individual witnesses are being questioned as well as police investigations continue.
