By Aaron Humes: A boy will become a man in the Wagner’s Youth Facility this weekend, then join the adult population at the Central Prison by Monday.
And while we cannot tell you his name, we can say tonight that he was arraigned this morning for the murder of 26 year old Troy Cole.
The minor was arraigned in the Family Court on the single charge, denied bail in the presence of a family member and remanded into custody.
On Wednesday, May 4, Cole was shot twice by an armed assailant on Gibnut Street and rushed into the Integral South side clinic located at the corner of Curassow Street and Gibnut Street where he collapsed.
Troy Cole was no stranger to the court and he had several charges before the court including an aggravated assault with a firearm for which he was out on bail for from the Supreme Court.
The minor is due back in the Belize Family court on June 16, 2016.
