Belize City man arrested and charged in March attempted murder case

By Horace Palacio: Police have arrested and charged Geovanni Ramirez, a 30-year-old unemployed man from Belize City, in connection with the attempted murder of Ashton Myers.

Ramirez was arrested on Saturday, June 1st, 2024 and charged with Attempted Murder, Use of Deadly Means of Harm, and Dangerous Harm. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on March 24th, 2024, in which Myers was allegedly attacked.

A detective constable, made the arrest, bringing a long-awaited resolution to the case.
