By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, Prime Minister John Briceno congratulated the new PUP Toledo East standard bearer, Osmond Martinez.
A whopping 3,500 residents voted in the convention on Sunday.
Three aspirants competed including, Dr. Martinez, Melhelm Espat and Nicanor Requena.
“We thank all aspirants and the party leadership for participating this process.
We congratulate Dr. Martinez and now join unified as we head to the upcoming by-election. We thank the voters who came out, believed in the Party’s democratic process and voted for the person of their choice,” the Prime Minister said.
Dr. Martinez won in a landslide victory and now anticipates the by-election.
