By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On Saturday, June 8, 2024, the Ministry of Immigration and the International Organization on Migration (IOM Belize) headed to Dolores Village, where they wrapped up the last of 4 outreach clinics in the Toledo District.
Approximately 40 persons benefited from services such as the processing of nationality certificates and renewal of permanent residence cards.
The beneficiaries also received financial assistance to replace their old, damaged or lost documents.
The team will now host 2 Identity and Integration Hubs, which will be hosted at the Toledo Sports Complex and Blue Creek Community Center on June 29 and 30, respectively.
There, the beneficiaries will be able to pick up their new cards and documents while taking advantage of additional services provided by the Immigration Department, the Vital Statistics Unit, Social Security Board, Labour Department, and embassies.
