Belize Weather: Moist and unstable conditions continue

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Over the next 24 hours, according to the National Meteorological Service, skies will be cloudy with some showers or thunderstorms mostly over northern and inland areas today, then over most areas tonight, especially the north.

Average high temperatures forecast today will be 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 93 degrees in inland areas, and 81 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 81 degrees along the coast, 75 degrees inland, and 70 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to southeasterly at ten to 20 knots with higher gusts, and seas moderate to rough. A small craft caution is in effect near heavy showers or thunderstorms. Operators of small crafts should exercise caution for gusty winds and occasionally rough seas.

Tides will be low at 12:48 this afternoon, and high at 6:34 this evening.

The sun sets at 6:28 this evening and rises at 5:18 Monday morning.

On Monday, skies will be cloudy with some showers or thunderstorms mainly over central and northern portions of the country.
