Miami Blazers’ Cory Williams wins Elite National Individual Time Trial Cycling Championship

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Cory Williams of the Miami Blazers won the 10-mile 24^th Elite National Individual Time Trial Championship held on Sunday on the John Smith Road by the Cycling Federation of Belize (CFB).

Williams clocked 20 minutes flat (20:00) winning over Oscar Quiroz of Team Valvoline (21:22) and Carlton Robinson of Alliance United (22:55), who were second and third respectively.

Valvoline’s Patrick Williams (23:05) rode in fourth and MnM Engineering’s Renan Matus (23:10) was fifth.

The 90-mile Elite National Individual Road Race Cycling Championship will be held on Sunday, June 30.
