By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The two-week Future Summer Football Camp, organized by Edon ‘Yellowman’ Rowley, is set to being on Monday, July 8 at the MCC Grounds in Belize City and will run until Friday, July 19.
Rowley said his sports camp aims to teach participating children the fundamental basics of grassroots football. The camp also strives to promote physical education, showcase the children’s skills and talent, and encourage community support for sporting activities.
Rowley mentioned that the camp, offered free of charge, is open to both boys and girls aged five to 14. At the camp’s conclusion, recognition will be awarded to the Best Camper, the Most Outstanding Participant, and the Most Disciplined Participant (for both boys and girls).
The camp will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon from Monday to Friday.
Children can be signed up by calling Rowley at number 635-4484.
