By BBN Staff: Orange Walk police have launched an investigation into the death of an 11-year-old that was found hanging in his room on Tuesday night.
The boy’s uncle told police that he had left the child along with his four-year-old brother at home and went out. Upon his return home around 8:00 that night, he found the older boy hanging from a rope that was tied to the ceiling in his room.
He was rushed to the Northern Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police are looking at every detail in the case. The toddler was unharmed, according to authorities.
