By BBN Staff: Former Belize Progressive Party (BPP) Candidate in the Albert constituency, Dr. Jose Espat is planning to form a committee in the new year.

He posted to Facebook that, “This committee will be with the purpose of serving this entire nation in getting justice every time a medical malpractice is done on any person in this country.”

According to Espat, the committee will includes two medical practitioners, two registered nurses, two attorneys, an architect/contractor, two activists and two persons who had prior experience with malpractice done to them.

According to Espat, “This committee now in turn will lead this entire nation in building awareness as to what to demand at these public health facilities and educate the nation.”

“We will also aid other people as they go through their experiences and we will challenge all medical malpractices in court. We will take action and we will protest at the sight of all injustices we will stand as educated Belizeans for all Belizeans country wide,” he added.

He said the committee will not be limited to Belize City and in the future he hopes to have it extended to towns and villages across the country.

“I will no longer wait on this Government, we don’t need them they been doing nothing for this country anyway, all we need is unity and each other,” he ended.
