By BBN Staff: Yesterday, the United States Marines stationed in Belize met with representatives from Bella Vista Primary School in the Stann Creek District.
The purpose of the meeting was to donate 245 footwear and 100 school bags to needy students.
After the meeting with the primary school, they inspected the living quarters of the Independence Police Station.
The structures are presently dilapidated and both the police and US Marines will work together to renovate the structures which are being occupied by officers.
